Beginning March 13, we will be reading “A Severe Mercy”. A Severe Mercy is an autobiographical book by Sheldon Vanauken that tells the story of his deep love for his wife, their conversion to Christianity, and the tragedy of her early death. The book explores themes of love, faith, and the concept of “severe mercy” as expressed by C.S. Lewis, who was a significant influence in Vanauken’s life. Purchase the book and read Chapter 1 for the 13th.
